This position will effectively meet set goals and build relationships with clients and prospective clients by being involved in the local business community, engaging in prospecting and business development activity and presenting employee benefits strategies to the market. The ideal target client of this position will be in the middle market segment which represents companies with 50 or more full-time employees. The ideal candidate will represent the firm’s reputation and conduct business in a professional manner in all dealings with clients and prospective clients.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and/or LICENSING
Texas Group I license issued by the Texas Department of Insurance. Bachelors degree required or a combination of education and professional experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Must be deemed to effectively speak, read, write, and effectively comprehend English.
Bilingual skills are preferred (English/Spanish).
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must possess basic math skills. Ability to perform these basic operations using units of American money and weight measurement, and volume.
INDUSTRY REQUIREMENTS
Licensing as required by Texas Department of Insurance or other regulatory bodies as needed.
