Mike Hotchkiss is the Chief Executive Officer of Hotchkiss Insurance. Mike joined the agency in 1999 after working for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC for several years as a financial auditor where he earned his CPA. Before assuming the role of CEO, Mike focused on developing and tailoring cost-effective insurance programs to meet the needs of his clients. His unique background allows him to understand his client’s issues and challenges from a perspective not held by many other insurance professionals, a viewpoint his clients appreciate.
Mike earned his B.B.A. in accounting at Texas A&M University and holds several professional designations including the industry’s highly respected Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designations. He is also a past board member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Houston and served on the board of trustees at Covenant Academy, where his children attended school. Mike has four children and enjoys competing in marathons, triathlons and adventure races and also enjoys hunting, fishing and camping. Mike also teaches Sunday School at Tomball Bible Church in Tomball, Texas.
